December 17, 2014 UPDATE:
This month, Indiana Landmarks signed an agreement with the City of Huntington’s Redevelopment Commission to provide funds for roof repairs and a rehabilitation feasibility study of the former Odd Fellows Hall and U.B. Building block. Local dollars are being matched by Indiana Landmarks’ Efroymson Family Endangered Places Fund through a grant to Huntington Alert. Indiana Landmarks has until November 2015 to identify a new purpose and developer for the block or demolition will proceed. This is excellent news that provides hope that this significant block can be redeveloped and saved!
